What
happens at my first initial exam?
A new (adult) patient visit is compromised of two parts.
The first part is an appointment with Dr. Karbassi. She
will be gathering necessary diagnostic information including
a thorough review of your dental and medical history. After
a comprehensive clinical examination, Dr. Karbassi will
review her concerns with you and address any questions or
concerns. Together you will then develop a personal treatment
plan.
The second part is scheduled with our dental hygiene assistant.
If it has been a long time since your last dental cleaning,
or if you have a compromised periodontal (gum) situation,
you may need more than one visit. This will be discussed
and planned with you. After these visits, you will then
become a part of our continuing care program.

We know not everyone looks forward to their dental appointment.
